My Scarlet with its Ti Canon Mount has arrived! It truly is an incredible device. So incredible that I've been at a lack of words to describe it for the past few hours. I picked it up today at RED HQ in Irvine. I placed my order on November 3rd (SO-51100) and had received my allocation notification email last Thursday. I've named it "Quasar" after astronomical quasi-stellar bodies. =D

I ordered my Touch 5" LCD on December 21st and that just arrived a few days ago. I'll be getting a REDMAG in a few days and then I'll be able to start shooting 'for real'. (I'm currently recording into a Blackmagic Intensity Pro PCIe card.)

A huge thanks to everyone at RED for creating such an amazing camera and having such spectacularly outstanding customer service! I'd also like to thank the entire REDUSER.net community for your help. Without all of you answering my questions, I'd be lost. :-) Thank you all very much for your advice, suggestions and expertise. Being able to learn from everyone here has been really amazing.

Some photos below.

Congrats Brian!!! (Nice office:thumbup1:)

Congrats, Brian! That's a lot of monitors you got there :)

It really sucks that it looks like we get late serial numbers even thou we were one of the first ones to order it...

Congrats, Brian! Enjoy, man. Hopefully your Redmag arrives soon.

Congrats! Get out there and shoot now.

Thanks everyone! Sorry I'm posting back here so late, but I just woke up. I was playing with it until 5:30 AM. :-)

I think I've pinched myself like thirty times already to make sure I'm not dreaming. LOL!

They help for keeping up to date on REDUSER.net. :D

Congrats Brian! Don't forget to fill in the blank on your signature line with the SN. I noticed you haven't done it yet.

Or you can get three 2560x1600 30" screens with the smallest bezels possible and put them next to each other in portrait so that you have one 4800x2560 display! True 4k RedUser and then some!

I'm sure Brian has the record for being the fastest to reach 1K posts in the shortest amount of time :biggrinjester:

Congrats Brian!!! Glad you've finally got a Scarlet - you're holding her like a baby :wink5:

Once your Red mags arrive - go out and make some 4K imagery!!!

Excellent idea. I'll make that my next weekend project. =D

Thanks Andy! Also, that's sort of what I was going for in photo #2. Though, I'll admit that my awkward smile didn't work out so well... LOL.
