  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

scarlet x scam

Someone needs to contact them and ask for the serial number. Then check with RED to see if it's stolen. If they won't provide you the serial number it's certainly a scam. The pricing, the writing, everything appears very scam-like. Good find.

thanks Trevor...I asked for more pictures...and they haven't sent any...

The ridiculously low shipping alone says it's a scam. Looks like it's ended.

From the Seller's typical past doll sales, I'd guess her account has been hijacked!

After NAB.. there will be a slew of scams on EBay... I saw one last night with the pics from a scarlet that was already sold listed for $2000... That was around 11:58 pm... As I woke up this AM 7:30.. it's no longer available.. Either Ebay caught up to them or an innocent victim dropped their credit card for the 2k...

the seller of this scam sent me an email through ebay...saying that he was going to give me his bank info for the transfer....right

Update: just to confirm what we thought It was a scam they hijacked someone's page and tried to sell the camera using a generic photo

As i know from experience asking for a serial number to check wil always resolve as OK and NOT stolen as scammers have collected genuine serial numbers online. The info Red can give you is if the serial resolves to the sellers name or not if you supply a name. If not that doesn't always mean its a fraud sale. Due to the high transfer of ownership costs many 2nd owners did not transfer ownership at their purchase.
