  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Less than a year ago I purchased an unused Scarlet X brain with Side SSD from a reduser. Almost everything else I purchased new.
This package was used almost entirely in-studio by me (never loaned or rented) – only left the studio once for a 6 hour job.
Eligible for EPIC & DRAGON upgrade – now or later.

The camera and accessories show almost no signs of wear (will post picts soon).
Only wear of note on the accessories is the 5" LCD was bumped recently and one of the connectors is now a tad loose (1mm of play) but still fully-functional and probably a rather easy fix.
Includes original boxes for all main components

Thanks Patrick, its a great camera that never let me down and will be sorely missed... but saving up for Epic Dragon! – thus the sale

Am also willing to part with just the Brain (125 hours), Side SSD and EF mount.

Hi Mark,

Nice kit. Question.....since you're able to upgrade to Epic Dragon from your Scarlet why not just upgrade instead of selling the camera brain? I think you get 9k towards your upgrade for the Scarlet brain.

Great point Vincent, I'm revisiting this idea too. When I first looked at the numbers it seemed to make more sense to sell, rather than upgrade twice to reach Epic Dragon. But after reducing my asking price, the upgrade path is starting to make more sense... But the catch is I don't have $19k to shell out for the upgrades at the moment and haven't been using my Scarlet very much recently, so short term a sale probably makes more sense. However I'll give it more thought and reserving the right to retract this sale on a moments notice! :)
 
I have a Red One and looking to move to Scarlet. You have a lot of hours on your camera. Is it in good shape?
I don't see a side handle on there. That camera without a side handle is NOT $15K new.
Will you take $7,000 for it?

To answer some questions about condition:

Camera with Side SSD and AL mount are all in superb condition. Because it was used almost entirely in-studio, it barely saw the light of day. (Have owned it for 1 year now.)

The Redmag station and Redvolt charger are like new. The 256 GB Red Mag and 2 Redvolts were lightly used.

No issues with any of these items whatsoever.

No, I've decided to keep my DSMC side handle and 5" Touch with cable wiggle, which I'll use on my BT Epic M Dragon.

Instead selling items exactly as itemized two posts up.

From what I've seen very well priced esp considering the low usage, most of which was in-studio.
