Hi All!

Red Scarlet-X S/N 1150 was stolen while on the IBC show,
this camera were I help my friend to ordered this year,
anyone know this camera going on the sale, please contact me at "perryho at cinerary dot com"
Billion thanks...

Sorry to hear that

Sorry to hear that

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully you had insurance. I know there is a list on one of these threads that keeps a tally of loss or stolen camera's. It's also on the thread that has the camera names (what people called their camera along with the serial number). On that list, they also put down if the camera was stolen.

Finally, if you haven't already, probably let your RED contact know just incase the potential owners want to check for the authenticity of the red camera (when trying to transfer ownership). There is a good chance the buyer will know that RED transfers ownership but the seller won't and thus won't even think of that being an issue.

Anyhow, sorry to hear this. It's my biggest worry.

Unreal. Saying I'm sorry to hear that is an understatement... you work so hard to EARN one, and someone just rips it off without thinking twice about it.

Sorry to hear that Perry, please make sure to contact RED as fast as possible and let them know so they register the serial as stolen!

Considering it was done at IBC, I sure hope someone in the business finds it and reports.
Since this is a serious subject how are you folks handling insurance on your gear?
Some of the shots I am planning in the future will have me in the most seediest side of my city and would probably need a security guard at all times :P
