Scarlet X for sale - SCUM?

I found scarlet x very cheap and it look like a scam.

Also found in Polish selling page and spanish:

What do you think?
If it is scam I don't know what to do with that (I don't know ebay very well)

When it comes to eBay, if a deal looks too good to be true then I look at the user's feedback. Commonly the thing to look for is the messages left within the feedbacks but more importantly, look at whether it's from "Buyers" or "Sellers". If the majority is from sellers and the feedback seems rather canned or basic, then it's someone just building up their reputation to look like a legitimate eBay member. I remember recently looking at a RED camera auction and it too sounded too good, so I looked up the seller's quite sizable feedback and it was all from fabric and clothing sellers for pages and pages on end. This eBay seller looked more like a clothing retailer than someone who would be selling camera gear! Shortly afterward, the auction was removed and obviously for good reason. A good practice I do to help others on Ebay in particular is that when I leave feedback, I try to always include what it was that I bought and whether I was happy with the purchase or not. It may not mean much at the time but later on someone may look at the seller's feedback and see that, in this case, they do sell camera gear or have in the past and that the transaction was pleasant. In this camera's case, I would avoid it as it would be a complete "do so at your own risk" kind of situation.

Unfortunately I got scammed for a RED ONE on eBay a couple years ago, thankfully my money was returned to me by PayPal. I ended up buying a nice package form the marketplace here that I was very happy with. Until I ordered my Raven, then I sold the RED ONE on Ebay :wink:

Those that sell on places like ebay and amazon and want you to contact them for additional information before placing a bid or sale are scams. Dot do it. Often, like on amazon, they are "just launched" sellers. Remember, if its sounds too good to be true, bekieve me it is. Dr. Joe
