Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share with you some footage to digest. I received my Scarlet about a week ago so I flew into Austin to pick it up. While I was there I managed to put together a shoot with my close friends and this is what we got....

There's a good chunk of slo-mo in the film, I know people have been curious as to how well it holds up. For more details on behind the scenes click here...

Cool! Love the color grade.

great stuff! Is that over in the 7 oaks neighborhood off Bee Cave?

Looks amazing can't wait to see more from you!

Barclay Woods and Lost Creek area for a good portion of the shots.

I knew it looked familiar! I grew up in that area.. I have some old footage kinda like that.. going down Quaker Ridge in office chairs. Nice job man.

"once my brain arrived..." hehe

Love how this just becomes common use... ;)

Can't see the clip on the iPad. Will check tomorrow.. The BTS gets me curious.

depending on the clips some where dropped like the 4K wides and on the slo-mo it was raised just a hair. I noticed on the 60fps I had to crush the blacks and bring up the saturation.

HDRx would have been sweet on two runs once the sun went over the hill but it didn't come to me until after the shoot while cutting.

Looks great! Big Cojones, dude! Your setup with a new scarlet has to earn some respect! You have mine!

Really nice stuff, I'm surprised you could get this much range without HDRx. That's impressive! Thanks for sharing.

Totally agree I was shocked at the latitude when in Cine-X. If I used say an f7 versus f3.2 I feel like I could have gotten a bit better blues from the sky but I wanted more shallow depth. I wanna say it topped my MkII in the Dynamic Range.

Wide open on the ZE 21mm holds up very well not much pixel aberration.
