We recently got a quick chance to test out the Scarlet on a real job.

It was only a little spot filmed over a 2 hour period with 2 crew. We didn't have time to set up lights or anything like that. Bad practice but it was nice to see what would come of it.

For the workflow and other info check out the Vimeo description.

Like the look ! I think its extremely well done for such a quick job.

Looks really nice. Great work man.

Nice commercial. What lenses did you use?

Looks good!

It looks good Patrick. What was the workflow leading up to the Vimeo upload? Did it go through a color grade?
Thx,

The workflow is outlined on the Vimeo page.

Basically Adobe Premiere Native 4k edit, then DaVinci R3Ds render out to DPX, DPX to AE to vimeo.

Yes it was graded footage.

Thank you. This will become "the" workflow for a majority of R3D. I am hoping to get my Epic this week. I wonder if I could have Premiere set up on Windows and Resolve on Mac.
