Just revisited some of the very first shots I took when my Scarlet-X arrived (on the very first day in fact!) and put them together in a very quickly edited and graded (if you could call it that!) sequence. A nice day at Bondi and an even nicer camera.
Any noise that appears in the images aren't in the master, I'm not very clued in as yet on Vimeo compression tactics. Can any of you Vimeo junkies tell me if the Vimeo guidelines are indeed the best way to go about the upload?
Since first powering it on, the camera has been an absolute joy and has showed no signs whatsoever of slipping during continual 8-hour day shoots (from which footage of a much higher quality than this will be forthcoming). It has also displayed very little noise versus the expectations I had built up - just shooting from the LCD and then between the goal posts alone. The lens used (17-55mm 2.8 Canon) performs amazingly well and is so sharp given the price. All in all, well done Red.
