Scarlet-X 655 arrived Hampshire UK

[Andrew Salter]

Great news Scarlet-X 655 AL Canon mount was collected today from RED Europe with LCD additional batteries SSD cards etc, on back order - side handle and RedMote.

Will be firing her up tomorrow, no name as yet.

Good news, at red europe we tried a Rode video mic pro with power in the mic, audio set to balanced in the menu on their demo scarlet, sound came through and showed up
on the levels no problem.

Wont be able to do real tests until the weekend as filming on FS100 which now feels like a toy

Thanks to Alan, Sam and Paul at RED Europe for all there help.

Will post footage and thoughts as soon as available.

Build quality - beautiful.

Glad to see you onboard the Red train Andrew. If you ever need additional gear or advice locally you know how to find me

[Andrew Salter]

Hi John that would be most welcome, as RED is very new to me but exciting would be glad of your insight.
