I truly Thank you Jim Jannard
Jarred and your Red team
Thank you kindly

If anyone in the Los Angeles area would like to shoot with my Scarlet-X
please message me
I am free for most of the next couple weeks and I will be happy to share the experience
No charge, but chocolate and any other creative gifts appreciated
I can drive to you or meet up and bring Scarlet-X with DSMC side handle Lcd batteries and a card and red station

I was very fortunate to be early to the Red camera experience and am forever grateful
I also was so happy to have gotten in to the Scarlet event and to be one of the lucky 300
I have only a Canon 85 1.4 at the moment, so anyone with lenses that wants to contribute footage and r3d's to the forum, PM me

I am writing all this as professionally as possible but it is really hard to contain the energy that is taking over completely..
I feel like my writing is narrated by Peter Sellers in "Being There" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H3wGIYhz0Q while in reality I feel proper nuts
Better to just let Big Lu's words save me from losing it and going bonkers.. http://www.reduser.net/forum/showth...T-CAMERA-available-today-amp-it-will-Dominate.
He said it best and must have spoken for everyone on here
I really cannot express enough how incredibly awesome it is to hold this thing and know what it brings..

Congratulations! A friend and I will be coming through LA within the next couple of weeks, hopefully with our scarlet in hand. So we should definitely get together and go shoot

Also, the big question, SO?

Congratulations Michael!

Did your side handle recently arrive?

I would also like to know about the side handle.

Wishing mine was here.

Congrats!

And that's an extremely nice offer. If I lived in LA, I'd definitely be interested.

I was lucky/smart and ordered the side handle when they first dropped in the red store
My Scarlet-X package side handle is backordered and yet to ship

Michael, congrats man. I got a few nikon primes we could check out on your scarlet, maybe I can bring it out when you decide to do some camera tests?

Also, I'll be shooting a heist film in LA next month on our Scarlet, would love to have #60 shoot with us a few weekends -- if you're available! :)

First off congratulations! but man do I wish you posted this just 1 day ago!! I'm waiting for my Scarlet to arrive, and badly wanted to use it for the Land Rover commercial I shot last night! I understand your excitement completely and would also love to collaborate (i'm also in LA). Maybe we can figure something out before the holidays?

Cheers

Congrats on the delivery. The generosity you display is a great thing for this community, especially in light of the sad tone of some recent threads.

If you can't get any local take up, feel free to jump on a plane to the UK and shoot a short or two!

BTW, thanks for the photo of the back on the camera, I hadn't seen the HDMI + HDSDI ports. Have fun with it.
