Just migrated from a RED-ONE MX (in for Stage 3.5 EPIC-X currently) but decided to invest in the Scarlet-X so we can have a choice of equipment and two bodies.
We managed to use some of the existing equipment from the R1 - but purchased wooden cameras / cinema oxide support gear. The CO battery plate was useful in being able to adapt the red-battery plate for useage here so we can use the V-locks. (Side-Handle on BO). We went for the ti-Pl mount as we've got the RPPs but will be adding a Canon Al mount as soon as is possible.
The cinema-oxide battery plate allows the touch to be mounted at the back which is a very useful bonus.
Very happy with the workings of the scarlet, the touch screen and boot up are both great. The interface is much improved too, as is the weight! We will have two set-ups, lightweight for our own productions and all the bells and whistle where needed.
