  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-X #00181 "Vienna" just arrived

Congratulations Sanjin!!!

I think the Manual says No to hot-swap.

Thanks Martin!

You are right and I'm not doing that hot-swap (actually did it twice for a test) but using Zacuto EVF temporarily instead RED Pro EVF till I will get REDMOTE.

That means for a handheld will use just RED PRO EVF and to control camera with REDMOTE.

Congratulations.

Do it, Sanjin!

I can't wait to see all the fireworks you'll generate with both a Red Scarlet and a Canon 300 in your hands.

Let the fun begin.

Thanks Peter!

Yes, it will be a lot of joy, pleasure and also fun to work with a both cameras...

Congrats Sanjin !!!

Now, when will you shoot your first feature ? :-)

I should become a producer before I will make my first feature.

Could be one of the main rules of the game in this business.

Also it sounds funny because everybody was telling you that you should start with a good script.

But having a good script doesn't mean anything if you don't have a producer.

To be a writer, director, producer and even a cinematographer combined in one person it's maybe only way to go...!!!???

and what kind of film would you make Sanjin?

Almost everything that starts with a documentary till a feature...

Basically as a sort of conceptual artist I work with mainly ideas.

For example when one good and attractive idea is chosen, the second part is to find best way or a form to tell a story...

For a certain reason I would't be be able now to specify anything more especially here on the internet...

Thanks Al,

I'll start some of the tests next week but right now can't promise to publish anything and all it depends on the final result.

Also I'll be more focused on a good performance and far less on a bad things.

Anyway, stay tuned!

Wow, sounds very interesting. I really like this kind of concept, is there a way to see your other works?
Thanks

Sorry but can't show so much at the moment.

Also driven by several reason and my own life concept I went into some kind of frozen hibernation in terms of art production for several years.

But my time to get unfreezed is coming up soon and always must be done in a slow process otherwise you can very fast get in a trouble...

Oh that's a pity. A flat mate of mine is into production in London and they were planning a shoot that features scenes or/and pickups in Austria and I would have wonted to recommend you as dop/director. If you don't want to share with the world just PM me.
