Hello i want just to ask how much does the scarlet al canon+ ssdside+ touchscreen +sidehandle with a redvolt whats the weight of those all together ? Is it still possible to have it on a glidecam 4000? Thanks

Yes, TOTALLY Possible. However, you may want to use a Glidecam Arm/Vest (SmoothShooter) because the weight is going to be a little too much for you. In total, the camera weighs in at about 9 lbs. and the Glidecam system plus weights is going to put it around 20-24 lbs. Thats a lot for your forearm =/

Check out my post on how I hacked the Glidecam XR-4000 ( Basically the HD4000 ) to work with the Scarlet:

The hack only applied to the XR-4000 in my case. Basically I just took the cheese plates meant to put more weight on the TOP of the sled on the bottom. I am not so sure about the HD4000 , although I own a few of them, the XR-4000 is a lot easier to balance with a Scarlet on it. Either way, you are going to halve a little trouble doing long runs without very and arm, just be prepared with some forearm exercises!
