Hey everyone! I’m curious: has anyone flown a Scarlet-W with Sigma Cine glass on a Ronin 1? Need to know if the zooms (and the primes really) will balance without any issue. Thanks!

On a Movi Pro, I've flown the Scarlet-W w/ Sigma Cine Primes, DJI Follow Focus, Action Products Wireless Video (would reccommend teradek) while mounting a Hypercore Mini batteries on the back of the camera with no issues. The trick is knowing where you will be able to mount stuff, knowing the total amperage of the gimbal, and how you will be running cables so they will have enough slack and balance accordingly.

If you are on Ronin, Gen. 1 you may want to grab the battery distributer so you can power the camera from the Ronin batteries. We flew a Alexa Mini w/ Super Speeds, Bartec Follow Focus, and a SmallHD AC7 two years ago. It was a breeze though we had like 8 Ronin batteries in circulation.

That's pretty close to the setup I will be playing with for this shoot, so it sounds like the primes are the way to go (over the zooms). That was my preference anyway, and everyones comments helped to solidify that.
