Scarlet-W screen issue

Hello everybody, I am a new red user powering on my scarlet-w for the first time today. I am using a red touch 5.0 attached via a wooden camera pogo to male lemo cable. for power I'm using an Element technica v-mount with an Indi Pro battery attached (no expander module). The screen only works after a few times of me rebooting the camera. I've posted a picture of the screen issue and also a picture of the screen working properly after 3-4 reboots Please help. Thanks

It happened to me too a couple of times with my scarlet dragon, I think it was the cable not perfectly connected. Next time it happens try to unplug it and plug back to see if it does it again, I'm also curious.

The first picture you posted (half-white, scrambled eggs) also happened on my Scarlet-W about the third time I powered it on. Using a DSMC2 7" carbon fiber touch directly attached to the brain. Had to reboot a couple of times to get rid of it.

I tried the unplug and plug back method, and it works. Shut it down and power it back on again being careful to not touch the cable and the problem comes back every time.
