  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W Queue

Nope, but I believe the rules say that if a person creates a thread called "Scarlet-W Queue" he/she must maintain such queue. :)

Which I think might be the reason it has not been made. Might be a real mountain to climb at this point...
 
Dang, I was hoping this was going to be an official Scarlet-W queue hehe.
 
Maybe instead of trying to maintain a queue, we should use this thread for people to post when they get allocated for their Scarlet-W, along with the date they ordered their camera. In other words, if you get allocated, or receive your camera, post it here. And if you hear of anyone getting allocated, post it here as well. That way we can get a sense of how quickly things are moving. What do you say? If you like the idea, why don't we search the forum for Scarlet-W allocations and start posting what we've found here.

We tried this in the Scarlet-W Facebook group (stickied to the top of the group), but never got past #185 (delivered in March).

Devin, since you're the OP and can edit the initial post, maybe keep tabs on this number?
 
Well, this is my first official post, so I feel like it is perfect to add myself to the list of future Scarlet-W owners. On the other hand, I am very aware that I am near the bottom of the order list, but that's completely ok. Still gives a lot of time to understand the Red ecosystem and workflow. I will update with my allocation when the time comes, but if you hear from me you've likely already received yours! I'm very excited for the next step, and joining the Red family
 
Yes I'm perfectly fine with keeping a tab on things. It's just helps knowing that the line is moving while we all wait

That's another thing, can't 'just' go by timestamps with the Scarlet Dragon owners supposedly getting some kind of priority? I would like to keep tabs on this as well.
 
Hi I'm Italian and today Red Europe said to me that I have to wait the end of September for my Scarlet W.
I have ordered the Scarlet W three months ago...
 
Hi,

I placed an order through the official RED dealer here in Dubai UAE for the Scarlet-W.

Not sure how the international units are allocated but placed the deposit on June 7th 2016.
 
I have a friend who ordered on January 2016 in Canada that still hasn't received his S-W
 
I pre-ordered mine on January 22nd and was told by my bomb squad rep just last week that "I could expect to see it in the next couple months" but not to get to hopefull about getting it in time for a shoot I have in October.

I'm super happy with my Scarlet Dragon. I bought the Weapon mostly for situations where I need two cameras and for rental. I might switch to the Helium upgrade, depending on the specs and of course the price.
 
Hi, hopefully soon be a new member in Red family.
I placed an order on Sept 5th, 2016 through the official RED dealer in Austrailia. i was told that i should receive at the end of October/November.
