Is there a Scarlet-W queue?

I am a Scarlet Dragon owner, placed my order same day as announcement, haven't heard a word from RED.. wasn't I supposed to be a priority?

I thought I saw shipments going out beginning of March, now half way through April and not even a courtesy call or email?

Best advise I can give is you will get it when you get it! We are all waiting for our scarlet w's. Raven switch orders has had the biggest priority over anyone else. Red have got through the big amount now so you will receive soon

I was was told scarlet dragon users have priority over everyone.. Since we got the Royal

1st priority was Raven pre-orders that switched to Scarlet-W. They're still being fulfilled, and last I heard, there were some people with October or November timestamps getting allocated. However, it seems like there are concurrent allocations going out to people only 1 or 2 days from the Raven announcement in September. Brent has said some of fulfillment by timestamp is a manual process and there may be some timestamp overlap. With the recent delays and projections on availability, Jarred incited even more original Raven pre-orders to switch to Scarlet-W, so it pushed the queue further back.

After Raven pre-orders get fulfilled, I think its then timestamp only, with some priority given to Dragon owners. It seemed like with the added switchovers of Raven pre-orders, those Raven -> Scarlet-W orders weren't all going to get fulfilled by NAB. How long after? Hopefully the end of the month maybe? Anyone's guess. I think we're talking weeks though, not months. We'll see.

It has seemed like things were moving, albeit slowly, but moving along. However, I now see people pointing out that on the order page for Scarlet-W, it now says: ORDERS PLACED TODAY EXPECT TO BE SHIPPED IN FALL 2016

So, that really knocks the stuffing out of thinking things will move quickly. If they're projecting 5-7 months to fulfil existing orders before they get to an order placed today, that is sobering.

Based on my experience with preordering the Scarlet X back in 2011-12, I was expecting April/May after ordering at the end of January. Lately it seems to be a whole different animal. With this recent estimate for new orders to ship in Fall, when all of us that ordered earlier will get your camera is anyone's guess. But it is good to have some more time to get the rest of the cash together.

Brent did say in the April Shipping Update thread something about being conservative with their estimate in order to hopefully under promise and over deliver. I believe he was speaking on the shipping estimate for new orders.

Contacting your rep and asking politely is a much better path than getting on a public forum and spewing complaint. Just sayin. Waiting is part of being a Red owner, so make peace with that or be miserable. But complaining and accusing Red of double-talk is just rude and a waste of energy.

Also, my first initial question still hasn't been answered, I was wondering if there was a queue.. there has been others in the past for other cameras..
