This is what I should be ordering tomorrow, along with scarlet and 4 hypercore slim batteries and charger, anybody see anything I could be missing? Besides the obv. more batteries and media-audio is not a concern at this time

Just a suggestion, unless weight is a real issue I might say that going larger than slim batteries might be best. Though I know that's not what you're asking for.

Looks solid. I added the Sidekick to my order because I like physical, non-touch controls (same reason I went Pix over Atomos). $550 is a whole lot to pay for a handle, however with weddings being a big part of what you do I can see having the record button on the side-handle being huge. I trend toward more traditional cine setups (though slimmed down) so the outrigger was never in my playbook.

I will say that if I could go back and re-do my order, I would swap my I/O V-LOCK kit for the I/O Module and then shell out for the Wooden Camera V-Lock so the battery sits lower. It is more costly but the everyday I feel would benefit. I currently have a cage for my GH4 with a 3-finger top-handle (something the I/O v-lock will require) and I want all 4 fingers to grip it. Small, but important things.

EDIT: clarity

I do need to keep the size and weight down. The io mod is my only reservation. There is a 4.7 monitor on the list

fyi i used a small for a while with my gh4s, they didn't jive the same way my pix (2) do, they are just awesome

i do plan on adding the cheapy $150 top handle

Cool, figured there was a reason for the slims. Personally I always try to get as high as I can while staying under 100wh for travel purposes.

Oh man, the Pix's have ruined me. I got a 702 for a wireless director's monitor and it's just not what I've come to expect from a monitor. The E5 is going to be my new on-cam monitor when I receive my S-W.

I have 2 pix, I am considering using them with the scarlet. I need to get all gear in hand first. But it's just more and more and more batteries!

I use a ptap adapter for my Pix a good amount of the time to cut down on weight...could be a good solution.
