Hi All,
First time posting here, but long timer reader.
I have a Scarlet-W + and OMOD XLR2. I have an ongoing issue where the OMOD sounds fine when monitoring with headphones UNTIL I hit record and then I get a loud chirping noise in the headphones. This only happens when recording, and it doesn't show up in the actual files. Only when monitoring.
A few notes: It chirps once for every frame recorded (so 1 frame a second gets 1 chirp a second, 24 gets 24, etc). Also, doens't matter if it's battery-powered or AC, doesn't matter if the headphone volume is adjusted, doesn't matter if any buttons are pressed, doesn't even matter if a mic is plugged in. As soon as you hit record, the chirping begins.
This has made the device not unusable since it's impossible to trust what I'm hearing. The company wasn't able to solve the issue last time I reached out to them (they even sent me a new unit)...seems to be something with the camera.
Here's a video I took a few years back when I first was trouble-shooting the issue. I gave up on the device back then and now I just wanted to see if I could trouble-shoot it for an upcoming project needing in-camera audio....so far no luck.

Thanks!
