Scarlet-W Monochrome or will Weapon still go B&W...?

Back in Apr 15 there was a lot of talk around a Weapon monochrome pathway.. we've been considering adding monochrome to partner or Weapon CF. There's been little talk since but the Scarlet-W has inherited a monochrome option, keen on any feedback/thoughts on pulling the trigger on the Scarlet-W Monochrome now versus waiting to see what eventuates for Weapon...?

I guess my roundabout question is, given the new Scarlet-W/Raven line-up, existing CF/Mg Weapon queues, 8K and everything else that's going on.. is it likely the Scarlet-W Monochrome is the "special place in the lineup" that Jarred referred here around the flurry of NAB15 discussions?

Or is there likely still some "big daddy" Weapon monochrome solution in the pipeline?

Scarlet-W makes sense for us as a DSMC2 partner camera to cover off monochrome, but we'd like to make the decision with consideration to what the overall 2016 line up might look like.. sorry if I've missed some clarification elsewhere.

Can't remember who but someone was miffed at lack of news and red ended up telling him monochrome weapon will be last... He has a monochrome dragon if I remember right? It was a heated thread not sure if it lasted but the good news is that eventually it will be out

The implication is a Monochrome CF Weapon will happen, but it's a low priority. The cool thing is you essentially get a bump in resolution with a monochrome Scarlet-W since there is nothing lost to the debayer process. And the 3D LUT capability of the CF Weapon is less important. So it kinda punches above it's weight class for what it's providing. I'm leaning toward getting one myself.

The Epic Dragon had a Monochrome brother, i would expect Weapon to have one too...
