Shot this quick low light test w/ my Scarlet-W around twilight yesterday- used up to 2500 ISO. VERY impressed- very tolerable noise level, looks very filmic and natural. I used the standard OLPF instead of the low light one to make it more of a stress test- held up very nicely! Check it out:

nice! is this prores right from the camera or transcoded from rd3s?

Very nice! Thanks for posting, Morgan.

Nice looking shots. The artifacts I'm seeing tot the sides the talent's head at 12 seconds in... is that the youtube compression or did you see that in your edit?
Thanks

Wow! Sharp as a tack and clean as a whistle. Great detail on the silhouetted foreground faces. You have to be happy with those results.

As a test, I was expecting pushing the ISO even more, to the level of break. Wanted to see how far we can push it. But video looks really great!

He said that he shot up to 2500 ISO. Why would you want to shoot higher? REDS do not employ noise reduction and I'm grateful they don't. I don't like the plastic smoothing that results in cameras that do. I think it's one of the many reasons RED footage is so beautiful.

To know the limit of use. It was a test. Don't you want to know how far you can push it with still acceptable results?
