Curious to see if anyone else was running into this issue with the latest firmware (7.0.1)

This is what I have attached to the back:

Base I/O Expander > Wooden Camera Quick Back > Anton Bauer Plate > Hypercore Batteries

I can access the power menu when I touch the spot where the voltage indicator would be but the power - in source indicates that the camera is running on DC power even when on battery.

Wooden camera will have a fix shortly.

Correct. It is likely going to cost $100 and is an update to the board so it communicates with camera.

RED says that WC reverse engineered old code which then was broken on the updates to IPP2. There's a lot of finger pointing in many threads but it's really just the reality of the situation. Not the worst, not the best.

Update to this issue:

WC is doing a solid and offering a free board upgrade. I got the email a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure when the boards will start shipping - I haven't gotten a notification yet.

It sounds like they are also developing an entirely new DSMC2 battery plate as well.
