Scarlet-W - Compatible with Next Generation Sensor?

Of course, no one probably has the official answer to this right now.... but since many of you are more experienced RED users and owners maybe you can help me guess:

Given RED's traditional tick/tock upgrade path, do you think we can expect that Scarlet-W (as a DSMC2 body) will be eligible for the next sensor after Dragon? Any guesses at how long before that sensor hits the market?

It definitely will and my guess is it can happen at the same time with Weapons receiving one, but obviously you're going to be behind of all the Weapon owners in an upgrade queue.

How long till it's announced - hard to say with 8K Dragon that is going to be here for at least 2 more years after its' release I think.

The next sensor will most likely be entirely new, and not a bigger/smaller cut of the DRAGON sensor. However, since we are about to get into 8k Dragon land, I would imagine it would be a year or two before RED starts talking about it's next entirely new sensor.

I can only imagine what RED has up its sleeves. All I know is that I'll be waiting (im)patiently for NAB 2018!
