Scarlet W and Go Pro 5 Footage

Has anyone mixed the two? Reason would be using the Karma Drone for air and the Red for ground.

All depends on how much you intend to push or pull the footage in the grade. If you're keeping stuff in the ballpark of how it is shot then shouldn't be too bad but unless you have it operating well within its very narrow 'Goldilocks zone' the GoPro will look like shit and you'll find yourself either using it very sparingly or compromising your other footage to match it if your grade is quite involved.

Shoot protune if you can.

I had no idea what ProTune was until you mentioned it. I changed the settings and will experiment with all these settings. Shooting at 4k limits a few things like frame rate, etc. Thanks again!!!

No worries I'm currently trying to match GH4s Inspire2 and Reds of all flavours, shot over 2 days (one in blazing sun and the next in a a terrible storm) and it is driving me crazy.

So do I, and it would have done a much much better job, but they were car mounted and the GH5's floating sensor for IS would have made it unusable.

Funnily enough the drone we were using on this job was holding a Scarlet-W.

The Inspire2 stuff someone had taken the camera and stuck i on a mini black arm type thing and we had a tiny high speed car gimbal setup.

I'd do it in a heartbeat but I have a real hatred of GoPros and banned them from our last production.

I mix my phantom 4 pro + with my epic-w and scarlet-w for everything I do, you'll just want to get something decently flat out of the dji and add saturation and other tweaks to taste to match the red stuff

The wide angle thing is annoying in GoPro. Is that why you hate them?

However, the Phantom 4 you are stuck with that camera forever, I suppose. But, it seems to look better than the GoPro. I put the Phantom on my card and whichever one I like less I am taking back. so far, they both have their pluses and minuses. Overall, the Phantom seems to have a better camera than the Hero 5. Maybe the 6 is even better? I'm not sure what to do. I'll be doing Real Estate and fun stuff with either one the most.

As much as I love the Karma's ease of use, etc, it just doesn't have the chops for tight spaces and the video really isn't as nice as the Phantom.
