I received my Scarlet-W on Friday and wanted to share photos and excitement. It came just in time to shoot a short i had planed this weekend so i took a few pics. Ive always been a lurker on this forum and this community was a big factor in my decision to purchase a Scarlet-W. It seems like a bit of a learning curve to really make this camera shine. hopefully i can contribute to more discussions in the future as i learn as well.

Congrats Carson! When did you put your order, were you an original Scarlet-Dragon owner, or just ordered fresh?

I put in my initial order for a Raven on September 28, 2015 12:11. Then switched to Scarlet-W it looks like on December 16th. This is my first red camera and have been wanting one for around 5 years now. I was excited when they announced the raven because it was a price point i could afford and when they announced the Scarlet-W it seemed like a better fit for what i do and was worth the extra investment. I'm excited to finally be shooting with red!

Old and new, we all get pretty worked up when RED announces new stuff. The RAVEN will open up lot of opportunity for new generation of users.
