Scarlet W 4.7inch Touch Screen freeze

Hello,

I received my scarlet W a few weeks back and have noticed it sometimes lags and will freeze for half a second then pops back.

Wasn't sure if anyone has encountered a similar issue or found a work around.

I have noticed this too on my Epic-W and 4.7" lcd. I seem to think it started after I installed the beta firmware DSMC2 BETA BUILD V6.4.21. Which version are you on? I don't think this happened when I was on the latest release version. I'll probably put a note into RED support. You might want to as well.

Same problem here with my brand new Scarlet-W. It feels like buffering not fast enough. It's really disturbing. Does anyone have a solution for that?

I've had this issue since I first got mine. Updated to the latest BUILD firmware and it's still happening. Doesn't seem to affect the footage and usually goes away after the camera has been up and running for a few minutes.

Try changing the refresh rate of the LCD. It worked for me.

If you're using auto black shading, that's normal especially as the camera warms up or adjust to different temperatures. It will not lag when recording. The auto black shading is constantly adjusting and calibrating and thus sometimes pauses the screen for milli-seconds.
