Hey Guys,
I realize that this thread is quite old but just had a couple of questions for all you fellow users thinking of purchasing the GH1. I'm very interested in the Scarlet but the uncertainty in release date is forcing me to consider the GH1 as I need a camera soon. To all users what is your overall opinion of the GH1? From the footage that I've seen so far, the overall quality combined with the relatively shallow DOF is a huge selling point for me. The only thing I'm a little concerned about are the lenses. Being the owner of a Nikon DSLR, I'm simply concerned about the quality of the lenses offered for th 4/3 standard and the availability. Obviously companies like Canon and Nikon have been in the camera business a lot longer than Panasonic. I'm not saying that this makes them better, but as of this moment they have a much larger array of lenses to offer and a solid history/reputation to back them up. Does anyone out there have any comments about this? Also, does anyone know of any companies that are offering adapters for say Nikon lenses?
Thanks
Jon
