  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'd like to know how many redusers here are working in Asia. I will try completing the list if users don't mind. Could be helpful sometimes...

Tokyo Japan - but can work all around east Asia...
Scarlet X Ti Canon (and soon Ti PL as well) full production and postproduction package including sound.
Mainly specializing in independent features and documentaries, but also TVC's and Music Videos...
Also Epic-X (for now via partnership) - soon my own Epic-M...
 
Thailand Epic M and Post Service. Scarlet soon to follow.

Tonaci, the first time in my life i saw a Red camera was in Vietnam, early 2008.
Vietnam rocks ;-)

I forgot the production company but i went to check their location, far away in saigon suburbs... The production manager was Cathy V., you probably know her.

Small world! yes, she was the line producer for the feature we shot between March-April, so you might have dropped by the set. I was camera operating for that film so we likely crossed paths that day too.
After the film, she hired us for a few commercials. She is now living in Paris.

So fun, yes...
It was very late at night in a small alley on Pham Ngu Lao... Now Red is everywhere in Vietnam.

I mainly worked on screening matters in Vietnam so i wasn't that close to the production side. I had the chance to work with great people like Nguyen Vinh Son though, and follow his work on Trang noi day gieng (shot on 35mm). I hope his next movie will be shot on Red, at least he wanted to go lighter way and i think Epic or scarlets are the way to go...

Mostly used for 3D shootting, 11 3D movies finished.
Last one is the third in Thailand, and being the first with local director, DARK FLIGHT 407
This year, we will have GIVE me % and Apartment 1303 to be launched soon
