Hey RED Team,
First of all... AMAZING job with the Scarlet! I mean it... you guys have absolutely blown it out of the park in every way, I am thoroughly impressed.
I have two questions... first off, if I were to purchase a Scarlet 2/3" when it comes out, and I used it for about a year while I continued to save money, will there be some sort of an upgrade path for a Scarlet user who would like to upgrade to the S35? I don't mean this to sound demanding whatsoever... I couldn't ask for more than you have given already. I just would like to know so that the money I spend will go in the right place... I'd hate to make a 7000 dollar purchase I end up regretting.
My second question is this: If I have 7000-8000 dollars to spend, and I would like to use this camera to shoot short films and potentially a feature, what do you think the best RED purchase would be?
I appreciate any help I can get, and I can't thank you enough for what you are doing for the film industry. You guys are pioneers!
Thanks,
Michael
