  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet update in mid-May

There are guys here doing that already for free ;)
 
Every 6 months or so I drop back in here to see what the latest hype is and if the damn camera will ever be built. Same old cryptic nonsense with "Big News" that never comes. Even (some) of the diehard fanboys are getting quiet. Maybe 6 months from now you'll have REAL news.

Yeah, And me too... But I tried...
I hope sincerly that this is the right time... Something like an announce the next week: "We did you expect, he he, but now Scarlet is ready".

Once upon a time... There had a Mid-May Scarlet update's in July...

Be patients... They will say something. When it will be ready to be told.
I preffer long delays in news than long delays in releases.

well, this equal that.. people were hoping to get S35 Scarlets in summer 2009..
its now summer 2010 and still not even an announcement..
still until now.. no company in the world released any affordable RAW motion picture camera..
while RED ONE is not that higher point in price.. still a RAW motion picture camera is an exotic tool.. even in HD res not 3K..

But I'm just trying to say that when they give us a release date, It will be THE DATE. And if to do that, they aren't ready yet... I'm not worry about wait for.

The last 'non official' information says that Scarlett is 3 months after EPIC. And they're starting Tatoo stage now... So, I don't believe anybody will have an Scarlet this summer...

But I still think that I preffer the right release date when they will say it.

What does 'the official release date of epic' mean? Does this mean once stage 2's start shipping or does this mean after all the red ones have been executed and new customers can buy the epic?
 
Yeah.. i would love to know who said that as well.....
 
So what's going on Jarred? Is the Scarlet Update indefinitely post-poned? Or are we likely to see something this month?
