Howdy everyone, hope you have having a good weekend. I just wanted to share a quick little test I did with my camera. This test includes the use of Zeiss ZF lenses in a studio setting, using no more than four lights and no larger than a 600 Fresnel.

This test is on the PG-13 side of things as there is partial nudity, Enjoy.

I'd be very careful at ISO250, some pretty harsh blow outs there. Definitely would recommend a higher ISO with more highlight range especially for those hard backlight shots.

sweet!
OK, bias for Redheads. still, its beauty!

Hope you learned your lesson about ISO while shooting. 800 would have giving you a perfect image as it would force you to protect your highlights. You would use less light and your image would look twice as good.

Still, first time you fire up a RED and see the amazing image it's an incredible experience! But you ain't seen nothin yet compared to what you'll be able to do.

Have fun!

Great work and an absolutely stunning model!

Or just watch your stoplights in the cases where it's necessary. You could wear a helmet when walking to the store... but most of the time you don't need that much protection. :P

Amazing image? You must be using a different monitor from me or have it set differently.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! 250 ISO, 800 ISO, the debate here is good, however I wanted to push the camera a little and see what it would do in the lowest ISO, and see how clean the image would be. I purposely didn't stop down the side lights or diffuse them to see what the harder light would do, and how the camera would handle them. I have done some other tests using the 800 ISO for some outdoor Vegas shots so look for more test stuff coming including some martial art action vids!
