I am slightly confused (mainly for my lack of knowledge) about the differences between these two brains. I used to aim for FF35, but after reading some topics here, I think it might be overkill, since I'm much more into Professional Film than Photography. I've read about several differences between these 2 sensors, like:
1: Mysterium-X vs Mysterium Monstro
2: Redcode 80 vs Redcode 100
3: Super 35, 30mm x 15mm, 5.4µm pixel pitch, 13.8MP Vs Full Frame 35mm, 36mm x 24mm, 6.0µm pixel pitch, 24MP
... But I'm still too confused about what this really means in practical terms, when it comes to image quality in motion pictures.
I've read that the FF35 only has advantages in image quality, when shooting stills. Is this true, and why?
Do they shoot exactly the same image resolution and quality, in motion? What's the difference in shooting 6k and 5k, then? And what's the difference between 13.8MP and 24MP resolutions?
What's the resulting difference for shooting film, between X and Monstro sensors, or between Redcode 80 and 100?
Anyone helping me clarifying these issues will help me better understanding what will be a more suitable purchase for my needs.
Thanks in advance!
