Scarlet Price in the future?

[Nick Pasquariello]

I know I saw a Red Name post this last night, but (and I've searched and read threads till my eyes swelled up) I cannot for the life of me find it again.

I *think* Jarrad Land is the one that posted that either the price is going to change, or the modules that ship with Scarlet, will change come the end of December, or January.

Anyone remember what was said? I'm trying to decide what I'll be buying and when, and this is one of the last pieces of information I'll need before I can make my final decision.

If I remember correctly the ssd module will be excluded from the 9700USD price...

Check Jannard's post in the Scarlet announcement thread. Price moves down to $9,700, but you are getting the brain only rather than getting the bundled SSD module and Al Canon mount if you buy before January 1st.

That's it. I knew it was something like that. Buying the body ASAP it is, then. Would be silly not to.

EDIT: While on the topic of Canon mount (as I'm new to looking for lenses to purchase), Scarlet can be used with all EF and EF-S Canon lenses?
