  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

About to buy a second Scarlet package (before even receiving the first one), also still considering buying some Epics - but I digree. Packages! What's the deal with the pricing on that? I may be missing something, but I thought I read from either Jannard or the other RED Exec (Jarred perhaps?) that the Scarlet (and EPIC) packages do not save you any money they are "just a convenient place to buy all the stuff with one click of a button". That being said, when I put the individual items in the shopping cart, they seem to be about a grand higher in price. Am I miscalculating or do the packages save you money?

That being said (I tried searching but the search function here is pitiful) can someone direct me to the thread that has the price list for the price increase?

Then I must be doing something wrong! For the life of me I can not find where though. I dont have any extra quantities...
1x LCD = 1600
1x SSD = 1500
1x Side Handle = 950
2x RedVolts = 390
1x Travel Charger = 125
1x AC Adapter = 150
1x Scarlet w/ PL = 11250
1x Redmag 64GB = 950
TOTAL = $16,915

Thats not even including the RedMag reader.

Scarlet w/PL package is $15,515. Where am I fucking up?

One problem and one question. What do you mean by "1x SSD = 1500?"

And, I see you have "1x AC Adapter = 150." If you're referring to the DSMC AC Power Adaptor, that's included with your Scarlet.

The Scarlet w/PL mount that you included in your list already comes with the side SSD module...which you also added in separately.
That's where you're coming up with the difference in price.
 
SSD Side Mount or whatever its called (the unit to place RedMags into). Even if we subtract $150 for the AC Adapter, its still a lot more money. Or am I still missing something? Haha.

That would be it. Luis, Brian, thank you. Oversight on my part (didnt realize the Scarlets came with one). That being said, a question asked a million times on here, what about Scarlet body's? Are they subject to price increase as well and if so, what is it?

I think I know what the issue is. When you add the Scarlet Package to your cart, it's giving you a subtotal for the entire amount. But when you add all the items individually to your cart, it's giving you a subtotal only for the items currently in stock. For some of the items like the DSMC Side Handle, it's only going to charge you a 10% deposit.


EDIT:
Or, maybe not... When I add those items to a cart, I get an immediate total of $4,285.

Yes - the brain price will increase.
Scarlet brain alone was said to be $9700 after the first of the year.
 
And if you wait until then, you'll need to buy the SSD module separately... so order by the 31st! You'll save a bunch.
