  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Just outside Providence, Rhode Island. Just put my order and down payment in yesterday, so I'm a bit behind. But still, honestly wondering if I'll be the first in RI to own a Scarlet. Know there are a lot in MA, probably a bunch in Connecticut (since they're closer to NYC). But it'd be neat to know if I'm the first in my state.

The Red rep that contacted me after I contacted their Customer Service mentioned that he's from RI originally. Super Awesome. The way our state works, it would not surprise me to learn that we are 1 or 2 degrees apart, not including Red.

Ordered a Canon Al Mount Scarlet-X, DSMC Side Handle, and DSMC power pack direct from red. Already purchased and received a used 5" LCD (non-touch screen) and a used 64GB SSD from fellow RedUser members.

I'm betting I'll be running the most foolishly slim, barebones Scarlet kit right out of the gate out of anyone on these forums. It's part idiotic, part foolish, part bold, part gusty, and part impulsive. But damned if that's not often where brilliance starts. Red's about passion, risks, and being on the cutting edge. I can get behind that.
