  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Out of backorder by February. That's all we know. Even that, we don't really know.
 
Strange thing that some of us have only 5 digit SO numbers....Mine is 50947 and I ordered 77 mins. after the initial announcement that the store was open.
 
So I'm 50923, is that a good thing? I tried ordering the minute the store was open but it seemed like an eternity to get my credit card info in.

This is where I think the SO numbers don't count for much... mine is 0945, and I ordered 20 minutes in.
 
I just read "The Color Correction Handbook: Professional Techniques for Video and Cinema" by Alexis Van Hurkman on my kindle fire. Awesome book, specially what I can now do using r3d files (thanks redusersl for all the files r3d files ;). The "depth" of these 4k files at 16bit is just crazy. Off to learn Davinci with the new windows version ... helps me not going insane. At this point, another important thing to do, is to separate production/money jobs from personal jobs ... where I am only planning on using the scarlet for personal jobs.
