Scarlet not running firmware

Hi guys!

We are having some troubles with our Scarlet.

We where right in the middle of a feature shooting when suddenly we began having some Halter Media errors, despite no one was even near the camera.. After 2 errors, we decided to let the camera take a rest and have some lunch.

By the time we where back, the camera started, but wasn't communicating anything.

The LCD is not receiving any info, nor does the EVF, no signal going out of the camera either. The camera turns the front vents, and the led light turns red, but nothing more.

We tried to reinstall the firmware 3.3.15, but the camera is not recognizing the force_upgrade folder..

Has anyone else experienced this errors? where you able to solve them or should we send our camera back to Red for a hardware revision?

Doesn't sound good. Have you tried to factory reset the camera? (Press the power-button for 15seconds).
If that doesn't help check all the attached modules, especially the side-ssd module (because it started with media errors) and the lens-mount, maybe something isn't sitting tight enough to make stable contact...

If you can't get it back it's time to contact the support.

make sure the sidehandle and redmote are not attached also or any lenses or any modules on the rear of camera.

Hi Nick!

We've alredy got in touch with our Bomb Squad Rep, as always really swift to answer all our questions.. and we contacted Chad Koeller from Support.. But despite having follow all the steps he mentioned (basically the whole system reboot by pressing the power button for 20sec) we were not able to start the camera.. The fans began to work as if they where executing an upgrade, but then there was nothing..

How do I get the log file?.. thanks very much for your support!
