  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey people,

Anybody know why my old Scarlet will do 2:1 in 5K, (which of course is only 12 fps) but not in 4K? Is there a reason this was never enabled?
I have been using the Scarlet as a B or C cam to my Helium lately and it works well, but we just changed all the projects to 2:1. I can crop of course, but would be nice to have that aspect ratio natively in camera.
 
I dunno, but it's probably the same reason it doesn't have 4.5k WS (likely because there wasn't enough demand and now it's EOL.)
 
I know of course that it is EOL, but so is the RED One and they still maintain firmware for it...cuz people still use it. Used one last week.

Wow I actually never noticed that until you just mentioned it Scot.
 
I had noticed it before...but wasn't smart enough to realize that it might hang me up one day.
