  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What fan settings are you using on Scarlet MX for long takes? Been shooting tests today and it gets a bit loud. I have a shoot next week and a bit concerned. The idea of the piece it to get each scene in one continuous take.
 
I have great results with "adaptive, quiet recording" target temp 65 and max. quiet 50.
For shorter takes (5min. or so) I even put it on 35 max. during recording.
Make your tests with "adaptive" settings...and use a good mic on a boom pole.
