  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

That was great. Hey, what are your compression settings? That image is sharp like a rats turd :)

Anyways, shot on the HVX200 in 720p/24 edited in vegas using Raylight then rendered as WMV at the 3MPS preset, then uploaded..thats all
 
If you have a HVX, why do you need a Scarlet? I don't see Scarlet being that much better. I want a RED, because I think it will work better with FCP, will have cheaper memory, and will be smaller. I am sill back in an SD world, so almost any HD camera would be an improvement.

Anyway:

Eugene, how do you know enough about Scarlet to say that it won't be much better than the HVX200? Well, I don't know enough about it to say that it will be much better though.

Stephen, if it were just RAW, he'd get the upgrade to Hydra.

duh, i forgot another word: DOF, i dont wanna use no adaptors, i think scarlet will have some nice DOF to play with.
 
Oh sh*t is right, it got an honor for the most watched today, came in at
number 93 in Canada. pretty weird eh.
