  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet Module Adapter

Module adaptor

Module adaptor

No need, the rear modules securely connect together, and are also common designs for an EPIC and Scarlet camera.

But as a Scarlet brain is narrower than an EPIC brian, we need an adaptor to match the brain width to module width.

Last iteration at NAB 2010 the redmote fits onto the back of the brain... no rear module adapter needed.... I can pull out my inner Sanjin and get pictures if you want

Look.... See me pointing at it!!!

Isn't that an Epic though Zac? I think Jim's second question above referred to Scarlet (altough I still assume that a RedMote will fit both, without an adaptor).

you know what, thats what we were talking about, but then someone said something about an adapter for the brain, so I went to get pics of the epic...

Be right back

Back, in this pic you can see, no adapter needed... it sticks out on the back like the brain usually does, there is no adapter

Good work :), thanks.

So we need the 'Scarlet Module Adapter' if we want to use the 'RED SDD 1.8" Module' ?

Adaptor module.

Adaptor module.

To attach any of the rear modules to the camera brain, you need an adaptor plate to be in place.
