Scarlet lens port?

[George D.]

Do all Scarlets have fixed lenses?
If not, is a Scarlet less expensive than a Red-One?
Thanks.

No there is only one fixed Scarlet. The 'Fixed Scarlet'.
Yes it will be in most cases. Since the new Scarlet/Epic system is modular, you can make the camera you want/need/can afford.

Are there ANY Scarlets out now? If not, does ANYONE have any idea when they may be out?
Also, I thought the RED-One was also "modular"?
I guess I really do NOT understand the difference between a Scarlet and a RED-One if they're both modular and both have a choice of different "brains", etc.

I think you should spend a day or two reading the sticky topics in the forums where you'll find many of your questions have already been answered at length. There will be an official announcement later today which should clarify options and pricing and models.
