Scarlet Lens Controls

Having seen the Scarlet at NAB, yes I know it is a WIP, the biggest question about the cam that arose for me was, how will the lens control be handled? I would like to humbly suggest that manual controls be placed up front on the lens. As a documentary shooter this would be natural placement for me. Over the years it has become second nature for me to reach up front to the lens for focus, reframing via zoom or adjusting the aperture. I have been in many situations using auto cameras, for their size, and have always been frustrated by their controls. Anyway, keeping Scarlet manual in this way would be a boon to me and mine. Anyway, just a suggestion. Take it as you will.

I was NAB and the way I understood the Scarlet controls are all on the back. I hope we can connect the Red Drive to it. They haven't decided on that yet?

A full manual focus ring is a must.

I'd be very frustated if Scarlet had these awful free spinning servo rings like Sony HDVs.
