  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet issues?

A while back I had black shading errors and my Scarlet had to be returned to be fixed. Since its been back I shot half a feature in 4K, I can say that the Scarlet worked like a dream, with hardly any issues at all. The only small glitch that occurred about 3 times was the focus zoom that gave me a split screen, a quick reboot fixed the problem. The camera fan was a little loud for my soundie in some indoor scenes which was simple to adjust to a quieter level when required. Aside from that all worked like a dream, the imagery is just incredible and at present no other camera for me compares.
 
I get the split screen pixel to pixel problem too. I just unplug the monitor and plug it back in again. Always works for me.
