Im heading to Arnhem Land, Northern Territory in Australia next week. Whilst there I will have to document a Senate hearing outside in a small Aboriginal community, it will most likely go on for up to 2 hours.
For this I'll be using the SDI feed into a PIX240, a 1080p ProRes file will be sufficient for the hearing. Everything else will be 4K.
My concern is overheating, conditions are currently 35ºc with a humidity of 80%-85%.
So my plan is just to roll on the PIX240 for the long take, what I dont want is the fan to kick in and make an almighty noise during the hearing, could be embarrassing (have heard of this happening to someone else on REDuser).
Does anyone have any experience with the Scarlet in similar conditions? Should I turn the fan to manual mode and keep an eye on temp? What is the highest temp the camera should reach?
Thanks in advance.
