I'm wondering if the idx v mount power adapter will mount directly to the back of the scarlet or is it mandatory to add an adapter?

You'll need either some type of backpack or rod setup.

So, it won't mount directly to the back?
I don't have all the gear yet, it's being shipped so I can't tell..

So with the cinemaoxide plate you don't need to buy the wooden camera quick back or battery plate? What is the advantage of the quickback? Anyone used the cinemaoxide plate?

Correct. The WC Quickback has a quick release, whereas the CinemaOxide plate is screwed in.

Hey Mestizo,

We also have a few solutions depending on your budget and production needs.

The Basic "Nereus" + Battery Module for those more on a budget

And the "Proteus" + "Electra" + Battery Module for those needing to maximize their setup without sacrificing excessive size or weight.

HI Mestizo, do you know what account your order is under? I searched for "Mestizo" and "Devon" through my records but haven't located anyone by that name. We are all up to date on orders containing Brick Back plates, so if you ordered with us you should have already received your plate, or its already in the mail.
