SCARLET + HYPER DECK SHUTTLE 2 INCORRECT FRAME RATE OUTPUT

Hi All,

Anyone have issues with 29.97 output to the hyper deck shuttle 2 via SDI? I set my project file to 29.97 on the Scarlet and simultaneously recorded to my 128 Gig Red SSD and an Intel 520 series 240 gig card @ 4k HD with look around turned on. The footage on the Red SSD is the correct project frame rate while the hyperdeck prores quicktimes are at 23.976. I am running scarlet firmware build 4.08. Any thoughts would be amazing.

Set the hz rate on the SDI out under monitor out settings.

Thanks Sam. Just switched it to auto. So easy to miss.

I'm not sure even auto is ideal - I don't have a SSD module and only shoot to hyperdeck so I use it every day. I'm pretty sure I've had weird mis-matches between timebase and recorded frame rate unless you set it to match. Specify the same hz and frame rate and you won't get any nasty surprises.
