Scarlet Feature Request

Since many of us are considering multi-Scarlet rigs, I think we need to have locking focal length pre-sets on the zoom. Every other camera at this price-point has a fixed mounted, zoom lens. Since we won't have interchangeable lenses for Scarlet, it will be next to impossible to calibrate the focal lengths on two cameras side-by-side. I think having the ability to lock the zoom, thereby fixing it in place like a prime, would help those of us considering 3D Rigs to calibrate each camera to a specified field of view. Like this:

I've only read Mike Curtis of HD For Indies report this so far so I'll ask in case its in any doubt. Will Scarlet have genlock - again for the 3D Stereoscopic Rig?
