Finally purchased my own camera in October of last year and have almost put 150 hours on it so far. The more and more I use it the images I'm getting are looking better and better. Happy about this little fashion piece I created for an online boutique. Shot about 10 different looks in 2 hours. The main purpose of the shoot was Stills so I was just basically just jumping around trying to grab little moments.

Used Canon 24-105mm 4L just for the versatility of zooming and capturing those little moments that you might miss with a prime and having to jump around.

Shot in 4k 24fps.
Simple color correction in RCX and edited in FCPX.

Overall think it turned out pretty good.

Let me know what you guys think of the colors/video.

Patrick, are you using RG2, RG3, or RLF? I definitely dig the colours, particularly where the mids/skins sit regardless of whether they're in shadow or direct sun.

Also would you happen to have a .r3d still of the Canon 24-70 ver.2? You mentioned the other day that it was "almost too sharp" for the wake boarding video... I'd really like to see that full res.

Mike,

Using RG3. Shooting at 800ISO shooting a little bright at least on my RED 5inch LCD then dropping iso down to 320-640 depending on range. Adjusting Flut and other details.

Whats your email? I can send you a .r3d

wow great work Patrick, love the creamy look of the post-edit footage!

nice camera work. cute models. clothes a bit odd. flare transitions are currently jumping the shark

Looks great, nice camera moves for the style of content and little things like hair flip transitions seemed to work well. Colours looked very vibrant, nice grading.

800ISO through out the entire shoot. Then dropped to 640 on most shots in RCX in post.

Shot at 4.0 Stop for entire shoot. 48Shutter. Used Variable ND filter to adjust for light differences.

you think you can just waltz up and shoot a fashion film in my neighborhood and not tell me LOL.

nice work.
