RED Store European prices appear to be about 9% more expensive across the board including; shipping to EU, duty @ 3.5% and administration.

Also adding 20% VAT for UK customers (minus talk of claiming it back, other EU countries etc)

VAT isn't relevant in calculating the price difference as rates vary throughout the EU and, of course, companies don't pay it. The VAT is reclaimable only if you are VAT registered. For UK customers the VAT is paid by RED then reclaimed by the customer. Other EU countries avoid it altogether by submitting their VAT number to Red prior to the purchase.

Not that I'm getting pissy about it... but I did say '(minus talk of claiming it back, other EU countries etc)'
VAT registration, variable rates throughout Europe etc are all covered in a few different threads. I thought it was helpful however, when talking about the price for UK private ownership, to factor in VAT - but I added the caveat that there are situations where it shouldnt or wouldnt factor in.

So the price for the 9750$ body in the usa = 8000 livre sterling ( vat include ) when you pay from your bank every else in Europe converted in Euro = 9500 Euro = 13 000 $

The british livre sterling is very expensive in the change ,So we have to pay to receive only the body of the scarlet in Europe 3250$ more than the USA price . If i am correct ?
